Strand Phase Conveying
Strand phase conveying starts when the gas velocity is reduced from pure dilute phase. The following characteristics are distinct for strand conveying: Continuous, segregate 2-phase flow - Relatively high terminal velocity (15~30 m/s) - Low pressure drop - Deposited product layer in the bottom area of pipe cross-section - Beginning of surge formation
Strand phase conveying is suitable for easy flowing standard products with average fluidizing properties.
